Buildable by design
The cheapest saving on a deep foundation is made on paper. We sit with your structural consultant early, review the retention scheme for buildability and come back with panel layouts, anchor levels and a sequence that can actually be built with the plant available.
Everything is issued as a written method statement for approval — so the scheme on site is the scheme that was signed, and changes are decisions rather than surprises.

How we do it
Written down before mobilisation, so nobody discovers the plan halfway through the dig.
Review
We read the borelog, the architectural basement layout and the consultant’s retention intent.
Option study
Two or three schemes compared on depth, thickness, anchor count, programme and cost.
Detail
Panel layout, joint details, anchor levels and reinforcement schedules issued for comment.
Method statement
A written sequence covering plant, slurry, concreting, testing and monitoring — for approval.
Where it is used
Some of the situations clients bring this service to us for.
Tender stage
Buildability and cost sanity-check before a scheme is priced or committed.
Value engineering
Reducing wall thickness or anchor levels without touching the safety case.
Complex sites
Sloping ground, boundary constraints and phased excavations.
Approval packs
Method statements and calculations for consultants and public authorities.

On record
Verticality logs, cube results, test certificates and daily safety sheets are collected as the work happens and issued weekly — not assembled the week before handover.

Something else on your mind? Call the office — an engineer answers, not a call centre.
Preliminary reviews at tender stage are free. Detailed temporary works design is a priced deliverable, usually credited if the works contract follows.
Always. We design the temporary works; the permanent structure stays with your consultant, and we coordinate the interface.
For temporary works, yes — issued and signed by our engineer with professional indemnity in place.
Layout drawings, reinforcement schedules, calculations and a written method statement, all issued for approval.
