The brief
The plant could not shut down. Every foundation sat between live pipe racks, with permit-to-work restrictions and a two-shift window at weekends.
Contaminated ground meant spoil had to be segregated and disposed of under a documented regime.
What we did
One contractor from the borelog to the final test certificate.
Compact rigs working inside pipe racks with hot-work permits for every hole.
Four sump and pump pits to 9 m, propped and cast in weekend windows.
Machine bases and tank ring beams cast to tolerance beside running plant.
Segregated, tested and disposed of under a documented waste regime.
